Thank you for your post on your cubital tunnel surgery. I am considering undergoing the surgery myself, having dealt with the disorder in my left arm for over a year and a half. I work at a computer by day and am a bass guitar player at night, and the combination has been very hard on my ulnar nerve!

I am contacting you because I am curious as to what kind of surgery you got. I have been given the option of getting a "submuscular" or "subcutaneous" transposition; apparently, the submuscular has better results but has a much longer recovery time. I am having a hard time making this decision. What kind did you get? If it was subcutaneous, do you find the current placement of the nerve ever bothers you?

Thank you very much for any help you can provide!
